YDOC ML 017 Data Logger

The YDOC ML-017 is a compact, low-power standalone data logger designed for versatile environmental and industrial monitoring. It supports both analog and digital sensors, optional wireless communication, and flexible power options for remote or autonomous operation.

Inputs / Sensor Support¶

• 2 × current loop inputs (0/4–20 mA)
• 2 × voltage inputs (0–10 V)
• 1 × voltage/potentiometer input (0–3.3 V) — ideal for sensors like wind direction
• 3 × digital inputs (0–5 V) with multiple modes: on/off, alarm, trigger, pulse counter, activity counter
• 1 × serial port supporting ASCII, MODBUS, NMEA-0183, and SDI-12 sensors
• Internal sensors monitor battery status, processor temperature, and signal strength

Data Processing & Computation¶

• Up to 8 calculation channels for derived data (supports mathematical functions like cos, sin, ln, sqrt)
• 8 aggregation channels for statistical operations such as min, max, average, gust, deviation, or rate of change
• Sampling up to 1 Hz

Data Logging & Storage¶

• Configurable logging intervals from 1 s to 1 day
• Separate alarm and regular logging intervals
• 8 GB industrial microSD for data, 512 kB flash for firmware, 64 kB SRAM for runtime
• Alarm output (open collector) for triggering relays or alerts

Connectivity (via optional boards)¶

• WiFi: with ML-OA-WIFI board (supports MQTT(S), HTTP(S), TCP data push)
• LoRaWAN®: with ML-OO-LORA board for long-range, low-power communication

• Typical draw: ~60 mA @ 3.6 V; data transfer: ~250 mA; sleep mode: <80 µA
• Built-in 12 V / 200 mA sensor power output
• Power options include:
• 1 – 3 D-size 3.6 V lithium batteries
• 1 × 26650 LiFePO₄ battery with solar charger in lid
• 4 × 18650 LiFePO₄ with external solar panel
• 8–28 V DC input (with backup battery support)
